KPTT BRIDGING PROGRAMME

Kinetic Pilates Teacher Training offers a Bridging Programme for Pilates teachers from other systems or methods seeking the Romana's Pilates certification.

BRIDGING PROGRAMME OUTLINE

Bridging Candidates must attend all seminars and pass all tests. Once all tests are passed they receive a Level V Romana's Pilates Instructor Certification.

The
course outline is similar for both bridging and regular candidates, the difference for a bridging candidate is that they are not required to complete the set number of apprentice hours, they simply test when they are ready (at the discretion of Teacher Trainer Rebecca Convey).

Based on their previous experience and training bridging candidates may be ready to test before completing the set number of apprenticeship hours.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Bridging Candidates must pass the entry requirement for the programme:

Entry into the programme is by invitation by Rebecca Convey after completing and passing an assessment for a Level IV (or above) Romana's Pilates Instructor Trainer.

To begin the program, students must demonstrate proficiency at the intermediate level (at a minimum) on all of the Pilates equipment. In most cases this will take a minimum of 75 private sessions although there is no set minimum number and candidates are evaluated on an individual basis.

You should have studied Pilates with a Classical Pilates Instructor (preferably Romana's Pilates) for a minimum of 1-2 years before starting the instructor training programme and be able to commit a minimum of 15 hours apprenticeship per week.
